Hello my fellow foodies, sorry for not doing any post recently. Been TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO busy~
So anyway, will be reviewing on 2 foodplaces I visited recently while I was 'missing'. =P

UOB Set Lunch 1-for-1 promotion

Truffle Fries $12.90

Steak house fries tossed with truffle sea salt, truffle oil and served with a truffle dip

(Not bad for a truffle fries, but would be better if the fries are thinner)

Eggs Benedict $13.90

Poached eggs, Parma Ham, chive & shallot hollandaise on toasted brioche served with fresh greens

Always love admiring beautifully poached eggs.. Slurp~
Smoked Salmon Croissant $14.90

Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, capers with a buttery croissant served with a side of fresh greens

Earl Grey $5

A classic tea fused with the natural oil of Calabrian bergamot; Citrus aroma & soft undertones

Red Velvet Cake

This is not in our orderlist, a complimentary dessert from the waiter when he saw me busy shooting the food away. Nice proportion of the cake & cream cheese, but could do away with the whipped cream on the top

Went during lunch hour around 12.30pm & it's surprisingly not that crowded. Really love the simplicity of the design & ambience, makes me enjoy my food slowly with no pressure.

Knew about this chocolate place back in my JC days because my badminton coach was a crazy loyal fan of it.  Was introduced by him, & so in turn I introduced to my SoulBuddy who was craving for some sweet treats that particular day.

(Went for the dark chocolate. Thick & smooth milkshake, with a tinge of bitterness from the dark chocolate)
