esBoudoir: My first gelish manicure experience

[Sponsored]

I don't know if this is normal for girls or not, but are all girls supposed to have done manicure before? To be honest, I have NEVER done gel manicure before or should I say I am not those typical girl that go for nail appointment every now & then. And I only done normal manicure ONCE, which is sponsored by my cousin because I was her bridesmaid for her wedding. Yes, call me noob.

But oh well, I was lucky to be sponsored a gelish treatment in preparation for Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant 2013 Coronation Night. Yes, that is also the day I am going to crown my next 'successor'. =)

To enlighten other noobs like me who don't know about manicure, Gelish is a UV nail gel that is applied in several steps requiring a 36 watt UV or LED lamp to cure the gel. It is a soak-off gel nail that can last up to three weeks with no chipping or fading. Nail gel can be applied to your natural nails without causing the damage of acrylics. Nail growth with nail gel is covered with a fill-in coat similar to acrylic nails, and is brushed on like normal regular nail polish.

And so, I did my first gelish experience at this nail place call esBoudoir located in Vivocity. Nice place, convenient location, and most importantly, friendly services.

Hand massage to end my whole gelish experience
The end-product.. Tadah~ Just simple glittery gelish..
A little gift from esBourdoir, complimentary nail file.
The super friendly manicurist, Ebony, who's very helpful in enlightening me with all my questioning
Quite amazed at how fast the gelish dries in seconds, unlike normal nail polish which you have to wait for like half an hour for the drying process. I don't know about you but for a first-timer like me, I actually quite like the experience I get from esBoudoir. Love their friendly staff & of course, their good services.
